ASSESSMENTS
Our assessments take approximately 1 hour and are performed through the use of informed and in-depth clinical observations. Through these assessments our staff can help structure appropriate treatment planning, and recommend interventions tailored to your child’s specific needs.
EVALUATIONS
Our in-depth evaluations last approximately 2 to 3 hours and employ meticulous clinical observations as well as the use of standardized testing tools. We perform a methodical and comprehensive case history review and ensure that all aspects that can affect your child's level of functioning is explored and addressed. Parents come out of our evaluations with a thorough explanation and understanding of what is affecting the functioning level of their children and how it can be addressed. PARENT TRAINING WORKSHOPS
We offer parent workshops on a variety of topics. We are also happy to structure programs to address specific concerns that may arise.
DEVELOPMENT OF HOME PROGRAMS
We develop highly individualized home programs to address the needs of your child on a day to day, hour by hour basis. We insist on helping you find ways to interact and intervene with your child in the most natural and therapeutic way possible.
FAMILY CONSULTATIONS
We provide consultations with family members, care takers, teachers, and any other person that may be interacting with and affecting your child’s therapeutic process. We will visit your child’s school, nursery, or venue of care and collaborate with therapists and teachers to ensure that a cohesive and well organized treatment plan is in place. The main focus of our family consultations is to help you maximize the benefit your child can derive from treatment and daily activities.
VIDEO REVIEW
For parents who live too far away from our offices, or for those who may not be able to schedule a face to face consultation, we can provide a video review assessment. You may provide us with a video tape of your child, up to 1 hour long for review, . , we will review the tape and in 2-3 follow up consultations (phone or e-mail) we assist with the development of treatment plan and home/school program.
