Part 1

"Putting the Pieces Together"

An intermediate level video class that provides practical applications on specific evaluation and treatment techniques of modulation dysfunction for a varied client population. Very useful and practical information for clinicians working with autistic spectrum disorders (autism,PDD,Asperger’s, Retts), ADD/ADHD and the lower functioning clients that are difficult to reach because of behavioral problems and overt sensory processing deficits.


Who Should Take This Class?

Occupational and Physical Therapists who are interested in learning PRACTICAL, hands-on, specific techniques focusing on the recognition and treatment of sensory modulation disorders. These strategies will increase your clients’ ability to focus and learn and improve their skill acquisition, resulting in notable functional outcomes in your treatment sessions. Special Educators and SLPs can also greatly benefit from this course content.


Learning Objectives:

  4. Identify appropriate sensory-based home and classroom strategies to promote ease and efficiency in carry-over of treatment strategies for parents and teachers.

Learn how to design specific strategies for use at home and school, to increase carryover and functional skills for modulation and self-regulation dysfunctions.
